Paul M. Mastrangelo, Ph.D.
Paul designs employee-centric workplace change. He is an internationally recognized expert in the use of employee surveys for engagement and culture, and he is an unbiased thinking partner for people strategy. Over the past 25 years Paul has applied his organizational psychology background to spur behavior change in organizations such as Air Canada, Apple, Cisco Systems, Goodyear, Hewlett-Packard, HSBC, Johnson & Johnson, Salt River Project, Raytheon, Standex, the United Nations, Vans, and Viacom.
Paul founded First Domino Consulting to teach business leaders how to design the human side of workplace behavior change. Prior, he was Principal Consultant at CultureIQ, where his 19-year job tenure spanned multiple company names (Gartner, CEB, CLC Valtera, Genesee Survey Services). Before that, Paul was a tenured Associate Professor at the University of Baltimore.
Paul is a thought leader in organizational development, having co-authored a book and written several chapters and many journal publications. He is a regular presenter at the annual conference of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Paul received his Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology from Ohio University in 1993 and his BA in Psychology from the University of Rhode Island in 1989, where he was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.
Paul is a native of Rhode Island, USA, who spends time playing rock and jazz on piano, lamenting his slow pace as a runner, developing his pandemic hobby of long-distance longboarding, and enjoying quality beverages with his wonderful wife while keeping up with four adult children.
