Developing Cultural Agility

​While our world is increasingly interconnected through the internet and international airports, cross-cultural success requires more than a passport and a plane ticket. Success today requires people who can comfortably and effectively work in different countries and with people from different cultures and backgrounds -- people with cultural agility.

Dr. Paula Caligiuri, author of Cultural Agility: Building a Pipeline of Successful Global Professionals, will describe how applied psychologists and other HR professionals can support organizations as they develop a pipeline of culturally agile professionals and global leaders. Using examples from both science and practice, Paula will discuss how leaders can develop their own cultural agility while concurrently building a pipeline of successful global professionals in their organizations.
