Working with Qualitative Data

IO psychologists find themselves working with qualitative data more and more these days, whether from senior leader interviews, focus groups, engagement survey comments or other less obvious sources. Traditionally, graduate programs have focused on handling quantitative data over qualitative. Four panelists share what they have learned about working with qualitative data on the job and from their diverse careers across industries. They will share some tips, their process, and what makes working with qualitative data unique compared with quantitative data.
