Jenna McChesney, Ph.D.

​

Jenna McChesney joined Meredith College as an Assistant Professor after earning her Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from North Carolina State University. Her research primarily focuses on stigmatized job applicants and the use of technology in the contexts of recruitment, selection, and career development. Her work has been peer-reviewed and published in academic journals, including Nature Scientific Reports, Journal of Career Assessment, and the International Journal of Selection and Assessment.

Liz Tracy, Ph.D.

Liz Tracy is an independent consultant and a lecturer at North Carolina State University, where she teaches courses in the Management, Innovation and Entrepreneurship department. She earned her Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from North Carolina State University. She has spoken on the topics of women and entrepreneurship, gendered language, and social networks. Her work has been peer-reviewed and presented at the Academy of Management, USASBE, SIOP, and published in the Journal of Business Venturing Insights.

Lori Foster, Ph.D.

​

Lori Foster is a professor of Industrial-Organizational psychology at North Carolina State University, an honorary professor at the University of Cape Town, and President of the International Association of Applied Psychology. In her academic role, she oversees the 4D Lab, which focuses on research at the intersection of work, psychology, technology, and sustainable development. As a scientist-practitioner, she has more than 20 years of experience applying psychology to regional, state, national, and international organizations in the private and public sectors. Her printed scholarship has taken the form of journal articles, book chapters, authored, and edited books, and her work has been featured in popular media outlets such as The Wall Street Journal, Fortune, and Fast Company.
